The Incredible Hulk = Rent
I liked the action scenes for the most part. They were fast paced and you care about the characters enough, to where you aren’t completely zoned out. The thing this Hulk needed was a smarter script. The screenplay is just fine. There is just nothing new or special it brings to the table. I don’t think this Hulk is any better than Ang Lee’s version, but I do not think its worse either. Both movies are different, and both work on their own levels; the first Hulk had a slightly better script. This one has the way better CGI though. The Hulk looked really good, not perfect yet, but it’s getting there. Edward Norton (one of my all time favorite actors) does an excellent job playing Bruce as well. If you wanted a different take on the Hulk than see this. The first one is more story and this one is more action. The Incredible Hulk is an entertaining movie. Still, I am waiting for a Hulk movie to be as good as Iron Man or Thor.
(500) Days of Summer = Buy
This movie is an anomaly. (500) Days of Summer is came at a time when we are all tired of romantic comedy’s that are promising to be something new and exciting, well, I was for sure. The movie was marketed as a romantic comedy which was new and exciting. But that’s really the only way to describe this little gem of a movie. Sure, it’s not without a flaws, but it’s difficult to find a romantic comedy(or a movie for that matter) with such a beautiful sense of melancholy. The movie is about two things when you get down to it: those being the innovative style and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. These two aspects of the film work together brilliantly to create a melancholy piece with fantastic humor and bittersweet romance which can leave you perplexed, upset, happy, and sad all at the same time. The ending may make some not like the movie as much. Still, if you can look past that you’ve got a truly fantastic movie which will stand and benefit from repeat viewings.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen = Skip
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has only one thing going for it. That one thing being the special effects. It’s all style over substance. No thought is given to the script, or the direction for anything else save for action. The acting is just bland. Not necessarily bad, but not good either. There are other movies that have good visuals and are still a good movie. I wouldn’t waste my time on this one when there are numerous movies offering much better entertainment.

I love your little schpiels (however you spell that word) for these movies, aside the mini-reviews. You pick the perfect images and use them to perfectly assert the film. Strange yet awesome how that works.
